The 2007 United Way Campaign Kickoff was a great success.  September 12th at the River Market Pavilion.  We had over 900 guests, agency representatives, and United Way personnel on hand to learn more about the agencies funded by the United Way and enjoy the beautiful day.

The Air Force Color Guard performs

 

The crew from Back Yard Burgers was able to keep up with the crowd this year by grilling 60 hamburgers at a time.

 

Walt Coleman was our featured speaker for the kickoff.  Mr. Coleman is a well respected NFL referee.

 

Sean Michel, former American Idol contestant, was the entertainment for the kickoff. Click here to see a video from the kickoff.

Virginia Zuco, with The Arkansas Foodbank Network.  The golfing theme won them first prize in the booth decorating competition.
